Facebook FAQ

Do you have questions or issues using Facebook Connect? Or are you just curious as to how it works? Please review our frequently asked questions section below for answers to commonly asked Facebook questions.

  • Q: How does linking my Facebook account work?
  • A: When you click "Login with Facebook", we will link your Facebook account with your survey account. This means that you will receive notifications of new surveys any time you are logged into Facebook. You can also simply click "Login with Facebook" on the landing page, and if you are logged into Facebook, you will be redirected to your survey dashboard.
  • Q: I don't have a Facebook account. Will I still receive surveys?
  • A: Absolutely! Connecting your Facebook account is strictly optional. If you don't have a Facebook account, or don't want to connect your existing account, you will still receive survey invitations via email.
  • Q: Why do I have to agree to these permissions?
  • A: Agreeing to the permissions allows us to send you direct, private notifications to your Facebook account while you are logged in. Agreeing to these permissions is strictly optional, but not agreeing to them may affect your experience.
  • Q: I do not want my Facebook account linked to my survey account anymore. How do I change that?
  • A: To unlink any application, including ours, from your Facebook you will need to first login to your Facebook account. In the upper right hand corner of the screen, you will need to click on 'Account'. Then select 'Privacy Settings' in the drop down list. Scroll to the bottom of the page to 'Apps and Websites' and click on 'Edit Your Settings". The first line item is 'Apps You Use', to the right is an 'Edit Settings' button. Click on this, and delete the link to our survey application, and click 'Save' after you have made the appropriate changes.
